Patients know that Dr. Hernandez understands patient pain, because she worked as a doctors assistant prior to passing her chiropractic boards. She is compassionate and caring, striving to know her patients as individuals

Dr. Hernandez is an Oklahoma transplant. He grew up in Eagle, Colorado and on to college at Dalton State prior to attending chiropractic school.  After school, while studying for her chiropractic boards, she found herself following her husband’s career move to Oklahoma City. That put Dr. Hernandez in the unique position of wanting to work in the Chiropractic field even before she was board certified to do so. She found her way to The Brooks Clinic and asked for a position as doctors assistant. Along the way, it turned into more responsibility – as you assisted the medical director during minimally invasive procedures.

That extra career experience often gives her the edge when understanding all the methods of pain treatment. She has first hand knowledge of how the injections are performed and what patients should expect afterwards.

The one thing you’ll notice about Dr. Hernandez right away is her confidence. She is working to make sure that every patient completely understands the evolution of pain treatment and how the therapies work together. 

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and being athletic. You might catch her taking a hike, bowling a near perfect game, or trying a new restaurant.
