AUTO INJURY?

Insurance & Billing

In most cases, the person responsible for causing the accident is the party that will assume responsibility for your care. In some cases, your own auto insurance may have coverage also. We have a full team of insurance and billing specialists that can help you evaluate your coverage.
We can make it much easier than that! We'll use what is called a "medical lien" that is filed to alert the insurance company that you will have medical expenses. This lien does not go on your property or against your credit. It is only used to alert the party who caused the accident and their insurance company that you have been injured. You get the care you need and don't have to worry about out of pocket expense.
In this case, we will not file anything on your health insurance. If you get to a place where the auto insurance coverage is not sufficient, we'll write you a referral and direct you to a specialist who takes your insurance.
Yes, our billing and medical records team is always available to get you that information. While it generally doesn't take more than 72 hours to produce the records, it can sometimes take longer if you are still in treatment. That lapse in time gives the doctors ample time to complete their notes and provide any remaining appointment criteria.
An attorney becomes part of your recovery team so you will naturally want to give them permission to view your treatment, billing and work towards a settlement with the insurance company. It generally doesn't change anything for use, excepet that we will keep them in the loop.
Of course not, but there are a lot of good reasons to consider having a discussion with an attorney - especially if this is your first accident. The whole legal process can be confusing and for some people, a unnecessary struggle. It's generally a no-cost/no obligation consultation that may very well help you whether you decide to hire an attorney - or not.

No one plans to have an auto accident – or have to deal with auto insurance, but in the unfortunate event that one happens – we’ll be here for you.

It’s important that you be evaluated as quickly as possible after your accident – because an auto injury can be a severe medical injury. But the one thing you don’t have to worry about is the long, lengthy bill that you will get at the Emergency Room or at your primary care doctor’s office. That’s because our medical office is adept at 3rd party insurance billing and understands how to navigate the auto insurance claim system. In the case of an “at fault” accident, the person at fault will rely on their auto insurance to take care of your medical claim. There’s no reason for you to worry about your health insurance coverage – or the lack of medical insurance. You don’t need it… that’s right, no medical insurance is necessary since all of the claims will go directly to the auto insurance.

Health Insurance Is Not Required For Auto Accident Treatment

We know that an auto accident can cause undue stress, so there’s no need to worry about paying for your medical bills. That’s because we’ll work directly with the insurance company to get your claim paid fast. That means, when you need an Xray to more clearly evaluate your injury – it’s included. Need an MRI? That’s covered too. What if you need to see specialty care that is outside of our ability to provide? We’ll arrange a referral to the specialist and make sure it’s also covered with no out of pocket expense. The insurance companies know that this is all we do, and they trust us to give you the best possible care. We’ll deal with the liable party’s automobile insurance company to make sure you get the care you need.

What If You Don’t Have All Your Documentation Together?

We know it can sometimes be difficult to get the police report, accident report, insurance information, photos and your own documentation together. You should not delay treatment just because you are missing items. We have an insurance team that can help you assemble the information you need. Your first priority is to get the care you need. We’re here for you!
