Operation Christmas Train Set Foundation
At The Brooks Clinic
The Brooks Clinic is proud to partner with the Operation Christmas Train Set Foundation. Our employees are always looking to make a difference in our community. Since we deal with people and families who have been impacted by the pain of an undesirable auto accident, we know that there are people in unique situations that cause pain.
The focus of Operation Christmas Train Set Foundation has always been to serve children, who have already experienced difficulty in life. Partnering with this foundation gives us the opportunity to make a difference in a different way. Dustin Fisher, of Operation Chirstmas Train Set Foundation says it best, “The children we provide for are in the foster care system, have a serious illness, come from a single mother household, or a low-income household. Children of military families and first responders constantly worry if their parents will return home, and that is a hard burden for a child. We believe it is all of our responsibility to care for children.”
Dustin A. Fisher M.B.A. began Operation Christmas Train Set Foundation (OCTSF) on October 15, 2014. Since that time, his volunteers have been working very hard to let disadvantaged children know that at Christmas time, people will step in and give them a little joy in the mist of their challenges.OCTSF has a great track record, including:
- We love trains and have given away over 8500 train sets.
- We understand that children also have other genuine needs. Therefore, we have provided warm clothing, school supplies, and other basic necessities.
- In 2019, we helped over 2000 children, which resulted in more than $35,000 of support given to children.
- While being in a pandemic in 2020, we understood that children needed displays of care and kindness, and we provided over $20,000 in gifts to children in need.
- Despite our country being in an economic downturn in 2021, we meet the needs of over 750 children for Christmas.
- Overall, since December of 2014 we have given away over 22,000 gifts, 200+ backpacks, and 100+ coats to over 5000 children locally.
However, OCTSF work is not finished. They have humbly asked for your help to continue the tradition of serving children during the time of year that can be very difficult for them when their families don’t have the resources to help make a happy Christmas memory. OCTSF is a registered and recognized organization by the Oklahoma State Secretary’s Office, and a 501(C)3 compliant Foundation. Our FEIN# is 47-4606808.
